The Malcolm Clippers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Fairbury Jeffs to 0 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Malcolm improves its record to 8-13 on the year. The Clippers host Platteview (Springfield, NE) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, September 18. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 11-9.

In their next game, the Jeffs clash with the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 12. Fairbury will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Bluejays come into the game with a 10-2 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to McCook (McCook, NE).
