The James Irwin Jaguars softball team (Colorado Springs, CO), was routed 15-0 in Tuesday's league test with the host Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO)

Coming up next, the Meloneers encounter the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a 3A Tri Peaks test, on Thursday, September 14. Rocky Ford will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Mean Moose enter the test with a 7-4 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Delta (Delta, CO).

The Jaguars (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Thunder enter the 3A Tri Peaks test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Lamar prevailed over Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO), 15-0, in a league test.
