The Swainsboro Tigers the visiting Jefferson County Warriors softball squad by a count of 4-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Fighting Irish go into the 1A D-I Region 2 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Dublin by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 18-1, in a league battle.

The Warriors now sport a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Bleckley County for a 1A D-I Region 2 battle on Thursday, September 14. Jefferson County will meet a Royals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Royals record now stands at 9-6.
