The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL) and the host Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors (Talladega, AL), saw Comer's volleyball squad beat Alabama School for the Deaf by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Comer upgrades its record to 2-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL) to play the Cougars in a 2A Area 8 bout on Thursday, September 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Central of Coosa County lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL)

The Silent Warriors now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Wadley for a 1A Area 8 bout on Thursday, September 14. Alabama School for the Deaf will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 25-15 non-league win over Beulah (Valley, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
