The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) and the host Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA), saw Church Point's volleyball squad nip Alexandria by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Church Point upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Bears host Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Acadiana won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA)

The Trojans now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Opelousas for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 13. Alexandria will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
