The Boyd County Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Creighton Bulldogs to 1 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Boyd County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-5.

The Bulldogs (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE). The Wolfpack enter the non-league game with a 11-1 record. In their last game, Elgin/Pope John held off Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE), 2-0, in a non-league game.
