The Rabbits (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dodd City (Dodd City, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Dodd City went down by Whitewright (Whitewright, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dragons encounter the Savoy Cardinals (Savoy, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Chico will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Trenton (Trenton, TX).
