The Clayton Yellowjackets topped the visiting Maxwell Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Des Moines for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. Clayton will confront a Demons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Demons record now stands at 5-4.

The Bears (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Mora (Mora, NM). The Rangers/Rangerettes enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Mora was knocked off by Pecos (Pecos, NM), 3-0, in a non-league test.
