Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Gilman can't hold off Colby

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Colby Hornets volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Gilman Pirates.

The Hornets (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Abbotsford was edged by Athens (Athens, WI), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Prentice Buccaneers (Prentice, WI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 14. Gilman will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the battle with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI).
