The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) and the visiting Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN), saw Pine Island's volleyball squad beat Goodhue by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Pine Island upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Panthers host Lake City (Lake City, MN) to play the Tigers in a Hiawatha Valley bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-7.
The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lourdes for a Hiawatha Valley bout on Thursday, September 14. Goodhue will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
