The Hancock Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Picayune Maroon Tide to 0 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Hawks now have a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pascagoula for a Class 6 Region 7 game on Thursday, September 14. Hancock will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 2-13.

The Maroon Tide (2-17) will now prepare for their game against George County (Lucedale, MS). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, George County gained a win over Long Beach (Long Beach, MS), 3-1, in a league game.
