The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) and the visiting Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN), saw Highland Park's volleyball squad nip Hill-Murray by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Highland Park upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Scots host St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 3-2. St. Croix Lutheran lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN)

The Pioneers now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Simley for a Metro East bout on Thursday, September 14. Hill-Murray will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 5-4.
