Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Thunderbirds clash with the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 14. Johnson County Central will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 11-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Palmyra (Palmyra, NE).
