Georgia High School Volleyball - Tri-Cities can't hold off Lithia Springs

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Lithia Springs Lions volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Tri-Cities Bulldogs.
The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Pebblebrook was edged by Carrollton (Carrollton, GA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a 5A Area 5 battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Tri-Cities will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 6-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA).
