The Live Oak Eagles held off the host Springfield Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hammond for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. Live Oak will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 6-3.
The Bulldogs (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Pearl River was nudged by Slidell (Slidell, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
