Illinois High School Volleyball - Lowpoint-Washburn Peoria Christian

The Peoria Christian Chargers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Chargers now have a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Peoria Christian will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-12.

The Wildcats (6-10) will now prepare for their game against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins enter the Three Rivers game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, St. Bede gained a win over Kewanee (Kewanee, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
