The Rantoul Eagles topped the visiting MacArthur Generals volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a non-league test on Monday, September 18. Rantoul will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 5-8.

The Generals (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Panthers enter the Central State Eight test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Decatur Eisenhower gained a win over Clinton (Clinton, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
