Indiana High School Volleyball - Pike Central tips Princeton

September 12, 2023: Princeton, IN 47670

Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN) in a Pocket match, on Thursday, September 14. Pike Central will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Pioneers come into the match with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Evansville North (Evansville, IN).

With the loss, Princeton drops to 2-11 on the campaign. The Tigers host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN) to clash with the Wildcats in a Pocket match on Thursday, September 14. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 7-5. Mt. Vernon won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN)
