New York High School Football - Marcellus defeats Birdlebough

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Marcellus Mustangs (Marcellus, NY) and the visiting Birdlebough Firebirds (Phoenix, NY), witnessed Marcellus's football squad topple Birdlebough by a tally of 41-16.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Little Falls (Little Falls, NY). The Mounties enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Little Falls thwarted Southern Hills [Tully/LaFayette/Fabius Pompey] (Tully, NY), 40-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Firebirds confront the Onondaga Tigers (Nedrow, NY) in a Section 3 C/D contest, on Friday, September 20. Birdlebough will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
