The Lubbock Westerners football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Snyder Tigers to 12 in the Westerners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Westerners now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake View for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. Lubbock will meet a Chiefs squad coming off a 18-16 non-league win over Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Snyder drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Clyde (Clyde, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
