California High School Football - Ponderosa wallops Oakmont

The Ponderosa Bruins football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Oakmont Vikings to 0 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bruins now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodcreek for a test on Thursday, September 19. Ponderosa will meet a Timberwolves squad coming off a 34-7 non-league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Oakmont drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host River Valley (Yuba City, CA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-2. River Valley lost 43-6 in their recent non-league test against Pioneer (Woodland, CA)
