Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Prout advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI) to clash with the Chieftains in a Division 2 test on Wednesday, September 18. The Chieftains come into the test with a record of 2-1. Ponaganset won 2-1 in their recent league test against Coventry (Coventry, RI)

The Spartans now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Smithfield for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Scituate will clash with a Sentinels team coming off a 0-0 league Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-0.
