Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 56-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Dutch Fork advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Silver Foxes host Chapin (Chapin, SC) to play the Eagles in a battle on Thursday, October 3. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-0.
The War Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Midland Valley for a battle on Thursday, September 19. Gray Collegiate Academy will play a Mustangs team coming off a 22-20 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, SC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
