The East Ridge Knights football squad scored 50 points and limited the host Mount Dora Hurricanes to 22 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Leesburg for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. East Ridge will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 20-9 non-league win over South Lake (Groveland, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Mount Dora drops to 0-2 on the campaign.
