In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Spartans football squad scored a decisive 42-7 triumph over the El Segundo Eagles.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Hawthorne was routed by Dominguez (Compton, CA), 59-0, in a non-league match.
