The Seventy-First Falcons edged the visiting Hoke County Bucks football team by a score of 16-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons face the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Seventy-First will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).

The Bucks (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Scotland held off Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC), 19-4, in a non-league challenge.
