The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ).

The Toros (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ). The Monsoon enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Valley Vista bounced Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ), 40-24, in a non-league challenge.
