California High School Football - Mar Vista loses to Rancho Buena Vista

Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA), 30-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Rancho Buena Vista advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Longhorns host Valley Center (Valley Center, CA) to play the Jaguars in a battle on Friday, September 20. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Valley Center 27-27 in their recent league battle against San Pasqual (Escondido, CA)

The Mariners now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to San Diego for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Mar Vista will play a Cavers team coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Cavers record now stands at 1-2.
