The Metter Tigers football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets to 7 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Toombs County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Metter will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Southeast Bulloch drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Screven County (Sylvania, GA) to meet the Gamecocks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Gamecocks come into the test with a record of 1-0. Screven County won 14-0 in their recent non-league test against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)
