The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) and the visiting Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), witnessed Riverside-Martin's football squad knock off Southside by a tally of 34-8.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Holmes gained a win over North Pitt (Bethel, NC), 44-14, in a non-league contest.
