The Thornton Fractional North Meteors football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves to 16 in the Meteors league triumph on Thursday.
The Meteors now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hillcrest for a test on Thursday, October 10.
With the defeat, Thornton Fractional South drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Red wolves host Lemont (Lemont, IL) to meet the Lemont HS in a test on Thursday, September 19. The Lemont HS come into the test with a record of 0-1. Lemont lost 42-14 in their recent non-league test against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL)
