In Thursday's non-league outing, the host St. Xavier Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Oldham County Colonels.
The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Paul Laurence Dunbar Tates Creek (Lexington, KY), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Colonels confront the Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Oldham County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Rockets enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY).
