In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sultan Turks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Orcas Island Vikings.

The Turks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bear Creek (Redmond, WA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Bear Creek was tipped by Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Orcas Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Borderites enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA).
