In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Soledad Aztecs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Watsonville Wildcatz.

The Aztecs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Condors enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, North Monterey County beat Greenfield (Greenfield, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcatz meet the Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Watsonville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Santa Catalina (Monterey, CA).
