In Thursday's non-league outing, the host North Valley Christian Academy Lions soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Camp Verde Cowboys.
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ). The HORNETS enter the outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Highland Prep West tipped Willcox (Willcox, AZ), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Show Low Cougars (Show Low, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Camp Verde will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 6-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Payson (Payson, AZ).
