In Thursday's league outing, the host International High School at Largo Sea Turtles soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 win over the Central Falcons.
The Sea Turtles (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Knights enter the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's Ryken was overwhelmed by St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Falcons confront the International High School at Langley Park Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD) in a Prince George's County 1A/2A/3A outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bladensburg enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 5-0 league win over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD).
