North Carolina High School Soccer - Rabun Gap-Nacoochee held off by Christ School

In Thursday's league contest, the Christ School Greenies (Arden, NC) soccer team edged the visiting Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA), by a count of 1-0.

Next, the Greenies battle the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Christ School will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 6-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).

The Eagles (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Wildcats enter the NCISAA Carolina contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Carolina Day was nipped by Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC), 2-0, in a league contest.
