Ohio High School Soccer - Whetstone nudges Columbus International

September 12, 2024: Columbus, OH 43202

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Whetstone Braves soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Columbus International Lions.

The Braves (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mifflin (Columbus, OH). The Punchers enter the Columbus City - North outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Mifflin tipped Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH), 16-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Lions confront the Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 14. Columbus International will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH).
