Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Danville Warriors (Danville, IN) and the host Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN), saw Danville's soccer squad triumph over Monrovia by a count of 6-0.
The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN). The Chargin' Chargers enter the Sagamore battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, North Montgomery was overwhelmed by North Putnam (Roachdale, IN), 9-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN) in a Indiana Crossroads battle, on Saturday, September 14. Monrovia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 13-1 league loss to Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN).
