In Thursday's league outing, the host Lawrence North Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Pike Red Devils.
The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against New Palestine (New Palestine, IN). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, New Palestine got by Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN), 5-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Red Devils play the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 20. Pike will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
