Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) and the visiting Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL), saw Naperville Central's soccer squad triumph over Minooka by a count of 6-1.

The Redhawks (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Huskies enter the DuPage Valley battle with a 9-0 record. In their last battle, Naperville North tipped Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Indians battle the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prairie battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Minooka will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Steelmen enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-2 non-league Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
