Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), 6-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Oxford advances its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Solanco (Quarryville, PA) to clash with the Golden Mules in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Golden Mules come into the test with a record of 1-7. Solanco lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA)

The Vanguards now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Collegium Charter for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Sun Valley will clash with a Cougar team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Cougar record now stands at 3-3.
