South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN), 4-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, South Knox advances its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 3-4. Bloomfield lost 7-2 in their recent non-league battle against Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN)

Next up, the Jug Rox battle the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Shoals will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Bluejackets enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-3 non-league Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN).
