The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Caney Cougars (Caney, OK) and the visiting Indianola Warriors (Indianola, OK), observed Caney's softball team prevail over Indianola by a tally of 13-0.

The Cougars (15-8) will now prepare for their bout against Asher (Asher, OK). The Indians go into the Class B bout with a 16-2 record. In their last bout, Asher knocked off Maysville (Maysville, OK), 4-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the McCurtain Bulldogs (McCurtain, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 16. Indianola will attempt to advance on its 1-15 season record.
