In Thursday's non-league test, the Fairland Owls (Fairland, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK), by a count of 8-0.
Next, the Owls meet the Pryor Tigers (Pryor, OK) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 14. Fairland will attempt to upgrade on its 22-4 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 16-2 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Claremore (Claremore, OK).
The Comets (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Jay (Jay, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Jay toppled Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK), 7-5, in a league test.
