The Defenders (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Quad Cities Christian got by Pathway Christian (Kalona, IA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Pirates battle the Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA) in a contest, on Thursday, September 19. Alburnett will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA).
