With the win, Genesee advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wolves host Beecher (Flint, MI) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Buccaneers go into the test with a record of 1-3.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamady for a Genesee Area - Blue test on Tuesday, September 17. Atherton will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over International Academy (Flint, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 1-6.
