The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Newport Central Catholic was tipped by Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Augusta will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Boone County (Florence, KY).
