In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Flowery Branch Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Clarke Central Gladiators.
The Falcons (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA). The Lightning come into the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Lanier Christian Academy beat Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Gladiators play the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a 5A Area 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Clarke Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 24-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA).
