University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) supporters were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team top the visiting Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions (San Jose, CA), 3-0 in a non-league contest.

The Golden Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Giants enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Redwood was knocked off by Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the KIPP Navigate College Prep Tigers (San Jose, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
